Victor is a consultant with over 5 years of experience in tax services. He is primarily involved in review of fiscal policies (focussing on both direct and indirect tax assignments) covering various sectors of the economy including, energy, manufacturing, financial services and the government sectors.
He has specialist experience in Customs Duty, Value Added Tax (VAT) and Excise Duty. He has been involved in carrying out various tax diagnostic checks as well as tax technical support during audits by revenue authorities and investigations including preparation of appeals, objections to tax assessments and other submissions to revenue authorities. Victor has considerable experience in VAT and Customs duty advisory focusing on business value chain impact and investments (inbound & outbound)
Victor has authored several articles primarily on business strategy and fiscal policies i.e. tax legislation, tax policies and the impact on businesses. Currently, Victor works in the Indirect taxes department at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Kenya.
